ALLAH DOES NOT ENTER THE CREATION

Muhammad Hijab & Ali Dawah Both said Allah Enters into Creation

Hadith Nuzul

Al-Hafidh Al-^Iraqiyy explained in his Alfiyyah (Pg161): “to know the meaning of one narration look to another narration.”

Al-Bukhariyy narrated in his sahih (V2 Pg53 #1145) that the Messenger ﷺ said:

يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا

which means: “Yanzilu, Our Lord every night to the lowest sky”

An-Nasa`iyy narrates a version in ^Amalul-Yawmi Wal-Laylah (Pg340 #482)

“Surely, after half of the night passes, our Lord commands a caller who says, “Is there a supplicant so that he would be answered? …”

The meaning of the narration of Al-Bukhariyy is: (A caller) Yanzilu, descends (by the Order of) Our Lord.

Movement, i.e. transferring from one place to another place, does not befit Allah. But it does befit creations such as Angels.

Mo Hijab: “ALLAH ENTERS CREATION”

ALI DAWAH: “ALLAH ENTERS CREATION”

The Positions of Ahlus-Sunnah with Regards to Hadith Nuzul

  1. The first method is to confirm whatever the Prophet ﷺ said, confirm it has a befitting meaning, reject any meaning which resembles Allah to the creation, but not to explain the hadith further than that. Ash-Shafi^iyy said: “I believe in what came from the Messenger of Allah according to whatever (meaning) the Messenger of Allah meant.” This does not mean that he takes it literally as some would suggest to you. It means that he is falling back from speaking about it.
  • The second method is to explain it with meanings that not only work in the language, but that are also befitting to His Majesty.

Al-Hafidh Ibn Hajar Al-^Asqalaniyy said in Fathul-Bari (Vol 3 Page 30): Some carry it on its apparent and literal meaning, and those are the Likeners, and Allah is Exalted from their saying.

Al-Hafidh Al-^Iraqiyy explained in his Alfiyyah (Pg161): “to know the meaning of one narration look to another narration.”

Al-Imam At-Tahawiyy (B227) said (Page 13 Al-^Aqidah At-Tahawiyyah): Whoever ascribed to Allah a meaning among the meanings of the humans committed kufr (blasphemy).
